Interim Senior Manager - Children’s Services

Pay Rate: £313.63 per day PAYE
37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours
This opening assignment is for 6 months

Senior Manager to work alongside the Lead Consultant in progressing the County’s Children’s Homes Strategy. The ideal candidate will have significant experience of managing and/or leading the development of children’s homes up to registration with Ofsted, ideally within local authorities. They will be required to offer their expertise to Gloucestershire on a part-time basis, up to 3 days a week (negotiable) by working alongside the team already in place and providing their expertise. Working patterns are flexible, although would require the ideal candidate to have the ability to be in Gloucester on a weekly basis, specifically to oversee the ongoing development of the refurbished children’s homes.
Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of home care services and resources
Experience:
A minimum of 12 months’ experience
Skills & Abilities:
Strong social work skills and ability to provide emotional support
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in medication administration and adherence to safety protocols
Excellent budgeting and financial acumen
