As a Senior Support Worker/Team Leader,you will work as a part of a team,with service users,focusing on the expresses needs of the service user and providing support to promote the individual's independence and recovery.
You will also promote and support the use of a range of therapeutic activities as a part of an agreed plan of care.
Also,you will be required to support service users to draw up support plans,to enable them to develop life and social skills.
Provide leadership and support for care staff and act as a champion for resident's safety and dignity.
Provide effective means of communication and support for the Care Team.
Supervise care staff on a day to day basis and through formal supervision processes.
Liaise with GP within a week of admission and their local GP within a week of admission and residents recieve the medical and clinical support they require.
Demand high quality care delivery focused on residents individually assessed needs and choices.
You will also need a flexible approach to working hours,be able to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills and exhibit attitudes and behaviours reflective of ICS vision and values.
Skills / Qualifications:
NVQ3 Level /Diploma in Health and Social Care

M Sc in Health and Social Care
B Sc in Counselling Psychology
BSc( honours) Nursing
BSc hon in Mental health
