Full-Time, Permanent, Childrens Care & Support Worker job vacancy, Letchworth Garden City between Cambridge & Stevenage just off the A10.

No experience necessary as full training & qualifications provided. Complete your Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.

Benefits
£11.72 - £12.20 per hour.
£1500 Welcome Bonus
4 Weekly rota patterns
Average 40hrs per week.
Full time or flexible part time shifts/hours available including weekend only hours.

Duties
As a Childrens Care & Support Worker, you would be working within a Children’s Home, which provides support for children and young people who have severe learning disabilities. This fantastic service provides support for Children & younger adults with profound, multiple learning disabilities providing them Residential Schooling and a home where they receive high levels of care.

Personal Care needs such as washing and getting ready for bed.
Ensuring good bedtime routines and sleeping patterns.
Doing regular checks throughout the night.
Ensuring any medical needs are followed.
Ensure that you create a safe environment for both the children & your work colleagues.
Light housekeeping duties during your night shift.
Recording information and administration.
