POSITION: Learning and Development Coordinator

LOCATION: Wavertree Technology Park

HOURS: Full time hours

SALARY: £27,000 per annum

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

As a Learning & Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating effective support, training and supervision for learners, while ensuring the highest standards of Health & Safety practice. This will help to create a L&D culture within the organisation.

Liaising with appropriate health and social care professionals to ensure that the training is effective and responsive to service user needs.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

To be successful in this Learning & Development Coordinator role, you will be a confident communicator with excellent relationship building skills, capable of establishing strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, while supporting the L&D Officer with projects across the organisation.

If you are a highly organised individually, wanting to work within a social care setting for a local charity, and have previous experience of delivering or coordinating learning activities, we would love to hear from you!

General Skills, Experience & Desirable Traits:

o Level 3 or above Award in Education & Teaching or equivalent.


o Level 3 qualification Health and Social care or equivalent.


o Moving & Handling Experience.


o Medication Administration Experience.


o 3 years' experience in social care setting.


o Maintain accurate knowledge of relevant legislation where applicable.


o Understanding of and experience in working with CQC regulations.


o Ability to lead, inspire, motivate and develop staff at all levels.


o An effective decision maker, with direction as appropriate.
