Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Area Manager in the Health and Social Care industry. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple healthcare facilities within a designated area. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with facility managers to develop and implement effective strategies for optimizing patient care and operational efficiency.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of healthcare facilities within the designated area, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
Provide guidance and support to facility managers, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and industry regulations.
Foster a culture of excellence and accountability by actively coaching and mentoring facility managers and staff.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, community leaders, and government agencies.
Oversee budgeting and financial management processes, ensuring the efficient utilization of resources.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with the Human Resources department to recruit, hire, and train facility managers and staff.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 5 years of progressive experience in a healthcare management role.
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to develop and implement effective operational strategies.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong financial management skills, with experience overseeing budgets and financial reporting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to travel within the designated area as needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Knowledge of healthcare technology and electronic medical records systems is preferred.
Hours Per Week:
Start Time: 09:30
End Time: 15:30
Pay Rate: £18.53
Location: Lincolnshire, East Midlands
