Location: Head Office, Witney - Hybrid model 3 days office based, 2 days home based
Hours: 35 contracted hours per week
Salary: up to £58,433.04 per annum

About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager Housing at Advance. Advance is a specialist supported housing association that is on an exciting journey to deliver more services and develop more housing for people with learning difficulties, disabilities and supporting people towards greater independent living.
The role of Finance Manager Housing will include:

- Maintaining and improving financial systems, processing transactions and collecting debt
- Financial Planning and reporting for Housing, including (but not limited to) budgeting, forecasting, value for money
- Rent and service charge accounting
- Supporting the Head of Financial Planning and Treasury and the Deputy Director of Finance in completing the SDR
- Commercial Business Partnering to Housing

About the candidate:

- Able to provide leadership to the Housing Finance Team and delivering excellence through a performance driven and customer focused culture
- Ensure the effective and accurate recording of our day-to-day financial transactions with respect to Housing operations
- To produce management accounts and related information in relation to Housing.
- Ensure Housing income is complete and accurate
- Ensure the accuracy of expenditure coding and making correcting entries where necessary
- Work with Housing colleagues to ensure that debt collection issues are identified and resolved to enable cash collection
- Be accountable for rent and service charge accounting and ensure that Advance is compliant with the rent standard
