Support Worker

Full Time Permanent Role

Hourly Rate: Starting from £11.60-£12.00 per hour.

Social Care & Education are looking to recruit Support Workers to work in a fantastic specialist supported living service for adults.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients service users.

Your responsibilities may include:

Assisting individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores.
Providing emotional support and companionship to service users and promoting well-being.
Administering medication as prescribed and ensuring adherence to care plans
Implementing behaviour management strategies in accordance with CPI/MAPA training to ensure the safety and dignity of all individuals.
Requirements:

Valid CPI/MAPA training certificate
Previous experience with Challenging Behaviour
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting others.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Confident and fully able to use a hoist as and when required
