Following a number of changes onits Board of Directors, the Trust is looking to appoint to three vital roles to help lead the Trust’s continuing improvement journey and help support the delivery of theTrust’s five-year Improving Lives strategy.

One of these roles is the appointment of an Associate Non-Executive Director with current Research and Innovation experience, drawn from Medical, Nursing or an Allied Health Profession to join its engaged and dynamic Board of Directors.

The Associate Non-Executive Director role is used successfully in the NHS to support Board succession planning, diversity and achieving a balance of Board level skills. The role is a step-up role aimed at attracting potential Non-Executive Director candidates who do not yet have sufficient board-level experience but have the ability and potential to succeed in the role.

In addition, to the Associate Non-Executive role, the Trust is looking to appoint to two further Non-Executive Director roles:
• One financially qualified Non-Executive Director with board-level strategic financial leadership experience, drawn from a track record working in complex highly regulated sector(s).
• One clinically qualified Non-Executive Director with extensive experience in primary care, secondary care, public health or social care to join the Trust’s Quality Committee.
