We are looking for a friendly and hardworking individual to join our busy Homecare team serving over 12,000 patients across a wide range of clinical specialities. Homecare services are vital part of providing the best care for patients with chronic long-term conditions.
The Homecare Pharmacy Department is responsible for the processing prescriptions and invoices to ensure timely provision of medicines for a wide range of specialist conditions.
You will join a passionate and supportive team of pharmacy administrators and technicians and contribute to the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services.
You will provide efficient and effective administrative support for the homecare team and be responsible for organising and forwarding prescriptions to the correct homecare providers, liaising with specialist clinical teams, and patients, ensuring effective and safe delivery of medicines to patients.
You will participate in order processing, matching invoices and credit notes, ensuring prices charged are correct, receiving goods electronically, ensure discrepancies/non-compliance with homecare deliveries are investigated and errors recorded. You will maintain up to date records of invoices passed and forwarding them to the pharmacy finance team for payment.
The ability to use a range of data sources and Microsoft software applications is required to enable you to provide a robust audit trail of Homecare prescriptions and invoices.
You will be supported by a team of Homecare Technicians and administrators and receive dedicated training for all aspects of the role.
