We now have a vacancy for part time (30 hours per week), Band 3, Team Administrator to work with the HMR Community Services Administration Team which is part of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.
You will be responsible for providing effective and efficient clerical and administrative support to teams of healthcare professionals.
The role will be based within our Booking and Liaison service, providing support for our Community District Nursing and Boroughwide Teams to deliver an in-house call handling service. You will be required to work as part of a team at a community base and provide cross cover to other services during periods of staff absence.
This is a 7 day per week, 365 days per year service, on a rota basis. There is an opportunity for hybrid working once all competencies have been signed off, usually after a 6 month period in post.
The normal working shift pattern is 6 hours per day (covering early, late or mid shifts), with 5 shifts per week.
The role will involve the co-ordination and implementation of office procedures and will require a high degree of organisational skills and excellent working knowledge of administrative systems. You will often be the first point of contact and a focal point for the services requiring clear communication and liaison skills and will be responsible for managing and prioritising your own workload and will be required to use your own initiative.
You will receive referrals via email and telephone, will data input accurately, will ensure all communication is passed over to the relevant nursing teams. Patients calls are dealt with in accordance with the NCA Trust Values. You will demonstrate flexibility and be able to cover a different shift at short notice. You will be confident in communication with clinicians and patients in a professional manner.
