Male Support Worker
£23,264 per annum (pro rata)
Full time and part time - covering various shifts (24/7)
Full UK Driving License and access to own vehicle essential.
We are looking for Male Support Workers to join our service in Shrewsbury supporting a female adult in her own home who has autism and learning disabilities.
She enjoys making her house a home and likes to spend time at home watching films, having pyjamas days, cake baking and spending time on her laptop.
She also engages in her community by going to the seaside, having coffee and cake trips out and spending quality time with her family.
No two days are the same but your day might look like this!
Supporting her to be engaged in all day to day living activities, including making full use of her community and beyond.
Supporting her with social activities, and connecting with family and friends.
Supporting the management of her finances.
Keeping her home clean and fresh, and going shopping.
Providing, and encouraging, personal care.
And enjoying what you do!
Experience in social care is not essential, we provide a full range of accredited and award winning training programmes at no cost to yourself, including the Health and Social Care Diploma that will really support your career progression.
