Are you passionate about supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and committed to making a meaningful impact? We are seeking a dedicated Complex Needs Support Specialist to join our team, providing vital support in a compassionate and inclusive environment.
- Location: Walsall
- Salary: £84 - £95 per day
- Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time, flexible options available

- Deliver personalised support to individuals with complex needs, including SEND, ASD, ADHD, and additional requirements in educational or care settings.
- Develop and implement tailored support plans, based on individual assessments and ongoing evaluations.
- Assist with specialised educational programmes and activities to meet individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to support.
- Monitor individual progress, adapt strategies as needed, and foster a safe, inclusive environment for growth and development.
- Promote positive behaviour and well-being, offering both emotional and practical support.
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in health and social care, special education, or a related field.
- Additional training in behaviour management, de-escalation techniques, or related areas.
- Knowledge of SEND legislation, best practices, and safeguarding requirements.
- Experience working with individuals with complex needs, especially SEND, ASD, ADHD, and similar conditions.
- Strong understanding of the unique learning, emotional, and behavioural needs of individuals with additional needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Strong organisational skills, adaptability, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

All quoted pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. While this advert is for a temporary position, a permanent role may be available at a later date.
