Domestic Abuse Referral Caseworker


25-35 hours per week


£22,500 - £23,000 per annum


Fixed Term Contract until March 2025

Brook Street Social Care are supporting a domestic violence charity based in Pembrokshire, committed to providing vital support and services to those in need. Their mission is to offer a safe and supportive environment for men and women experiencing domestic violence, helping them to rebuild their lives and regain their independence.


As an Assessment Worker, you will play a crucial role in community outreach efforts. You will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of individuals affected by domestic violence, identifying their specific needs, and directing them to the appropriate support services. Your work will involve close collaboration with external agencies and the internal team to ensure comprehensive and effective support.


The role is open to part time and part time hours. The role is based in Pembrokshire but is able to be deleivered remotely witht he occasional travel to the area.


Key Responsibilities:


Conducting detailed assessments of individuals experiencing domestic violence.


Identifying and evaluating the immediate and long-term needs of clients.


Directing clients to suitable support services and resources.


Collaborating with external agencies to coordinate and enhance support efforts.


Maintaining accurate and confidential records of client assessments and interactions.


Providing compassionate and empathetic support to individuals in crisis.
