Morgan Hunt's Social Care team are proud to be working with The Elfrida Society on their search for a Specialist Advocacy Worker.

Advocating for adults and parents with a learning disability and/or mental health struggles, you will support parents through the complexity of parenting, supporting them with all matters relating to their children.

Supporting parents going through child protection, care proceedings and in court hearings, you will help them understand the process and advocate on their behalf.

Ensuring the view and voice of parents are heard, you will ensure the processes are fair and that no stone is left unturned, ensuring every effort is put in place to offer parents every change of success.

The role is permanent contracted 20 hours per week however the likelihood of overtime is very likely due to the busyness of the service.

We are ideally looking for someone with advocacy experience however are open to people with family or mental health experience.

The role is Monday to Friday 9:30 - 17:30

The head office is based in Islington however the court proceedings mean frequent travel.
