What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking a teacher or instructor who can lead this vocational curriculum area, with ideally a specialism in either Hair and Beauty, Child Development or Health and Social Care.

We are looking for someone with practical skills and creative flair who has either a hairdressing or beauty background and is confident to deliver a level 2 qualification in hair & beauty or someone experienced in delivering vocational qualifications at level 2.

A teaching qualification is not essential however experience of training or instruction is highly desirable. We welcome applications from a range of staff from more experienced teachers to those newer to the profession; we can somewhat shape the position for the correct person and will look positively on all applicants. The school actively encourages applicants from a range of backgrounds and is proud of the diversity of the staff.
