THE JOB:
The employer is a 37-year-old woman who lives independently and has complex medical needs including severe ME, and is also awaiting testing for Autism. The employer’s medical conditions are variable, and her needs change from day to day, but help is required for all aspects of daily living in order to maintain independence and promote a fun and active lifestyle.

THE RIGHT PERSON:
If you have a caring nature, this could be a rewarding job for you. You should have experience in supporting adults in both health and social care settings. Have a basic understanding of food safety, infection control, and the use of PPE. Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and record keeping. This role includes personal care, therefore the employer is requesting that applicants are female.

Being a qualified driver, with the use of a vehicle for work purposes is desirable, but not essential.

THE HOURS:
8 hours per week, weekend work patterns are open to negotiation in agreement with other support workers.
Core hours: Tuesday and Friday evenings 7pm – 9pm. Saturday mornings 7.30am – 9.30am
Extra hours will be available for holiday cover.

THE RATE OF PAY AND BENEFITS:
£13 per hour and 5.6 weeks (pro-rata) paid holidays.

Successful applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. This post is subject to DBS checks, the cost of which will be met by the employer.
