Do you have experience as a Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching assistant or other experience working in childcare?

Teaching Assistants and SEN Assistants are a key member of any school and Teaching Personnel look to place fantastic educators in the right schools for them.

Location: Harrow London.

Role(s): Teaching Assistant and SEN Teaching Assistant - Early Years, KS1 & KS2

Duration: September start, Fulltime and Part - Time positions. Monday to Friday 8:30 to 4:00pm

Pay: £75 - 90 per day (paid on a weekly basis)

If you are experienced with SEN children, or other health care (social work / health care) in a personal setting and not on a professional level, please do still reach out. We are eager to find out some more about your experiences and if we can help push you further.

The school are looking for teaching assistants / SEN assistants or those with youth work experience who are:
- Open to working in schools with young children across Early Years, KS1 and KS2 education.
- Ability to build relationships with children, incredibly important with children who have learning difficulties, allowing them to trust you and willingness to develop.
- Passionate about working with children with various needs, SEN experience desired.
- A patient and warm personality, eager to develop and progress those early in their education.

There are full-time roles and part-time roles available starting in September, allowing flexibility to those interested. The usual hours are 8:30-4:00pm Monday to Fridays with permanent opportunities potentially available for those who would like to continue in the school.

Essential criteria: Teaching background, or experience working with children/young people in early education.

Desirable criteria: Mental health awareness training, Special Needs experience, Team Teach or positive handling training, MIDAS trained to drive school minibus, first aid trained.
