Job Description

Based at Beech Hill House Care Centre, Lour Road, Forfar.


This job is workstyle 3 - Flexi.


You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from a variety of locations, working from council buildings, working in service user’s locations and site visits and you can work from home to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.


An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Accommodation and Home Care Service for an enthusiastic and inspiring leader to join Beech Hill House as a unit manager. We are looking for an experienced and skilled leader with the ability to engage, motivate and inspire others to support the transformational change agenda within the Angus Health and Social Care Partnership.


The Unit Manager will be expected to provide leadership and management to a staff team and residents in order to support the delivery of best practice in line with the Health and Social Care standards and Scottish Social Services Council Codes of Practice. This role is permanent and the unit manager would be responsible for reviewing and monitoring an agreed budget and processing financial documents.


The unit manager would also be expected to promote continuous improvement and support innovative and creative service delivery which meets service user needs.


The unit manager will be responsible for promoting individuals’ health and well-being, and supporting staff to empower residents to maintaining independence through the collaboration with multi- disciplinary teams to ensure maximum outcomes.
