Salary: £12-£13 per hour

About Us: We are a 48-bed nursing home in Worcester, specializing in dementia and elderly care. Our mission is to provide compassionate, high-quality care to our residents in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Carer/Nurse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in elderly care, particularly in dementia care, and will be skilled in wound care and medication administration.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Administer medications and manage wound care in accordance with care plans.
Support and supervise junior staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
Training and experience in wound care and medication administration.
Strong understanding of dementia care practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of elderly residents.
