-------------------------------------------

Are you an experienced Support Worker looking to make a difference? If so, we'd love to hear from you!

--------------------------------------------

Who will I be supporting?

We support 2 young men in their early 20s who love going out on their bikes, playing badminton, swimming, going to the cinema, baking and arts & crafts.

The people we support have autism, communication difficulties and can display behaviours of distress.

An active, outgoing & determined support worker with a positive attitude would be a wonderful match.

What will I be doing?

- You will be supporting the young men to live their lives how they choose and to achieve their goals.

- You'll be involved in helping to increase their independent living skills, especially when getting involved around home.

- One individual will require a lot of visuals to prepare for their activities.

- You will be supporting the gentlemen with their personal care (varying degrees of independence), meal preparation, medication administration, budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.

- The young men can experience behaviours of distress at times, and whilst person-centred training will be provided, you will need to have some previous experience supporting people with complex behavioural needs to be a good match for their team.

Afternoon Shifts: 3pm - 9pm
Long Day Sleep-In: 9am - 10pm, sleep in then 8am - 9am follow on shift (Weekends)
