Healthcare Assistant - Tintagel ward

We have an exciting opportunity available at the Royal Cornwall Hospital for a healthcare assistant to join our committed team on Tintagel ward in the Acute and emergency Medicine Care Group.

Tinatgel Ward is a Neurology and eldercare ward. You will be working on a ward that provides a positive environment to work in, whilst respecting your contribution to work within a specialty that gives you an opportunity to do what you do best, care for patients.

Our specialty makes us an exciting and ambitious forward thinking ward that provides holistic, multi-professional care.

Successful applicants will have excellent communication skills and have a good knowledge and understanding of clinical standards. You must be able to work on your own initiative and also be an excellent team player whilst being prepared to develop as an individual and support others to develop.

Full-time (37.5 hours per week) and part-time hours are available. Please note that sponsorship is not guaranteed. Please discuss any sponsorship requirements or working hours per week limits (due to your current visa) that you may have at interview.

If you are looking for professional and personal development then we will support you to achieve this. There is a clear development structure in place, which includes various courses to help you understand your delivery of care within the emergency medical speciality. We actively encourage training and development with Trainee Nurse Associate courses run from our hospital.

You must be able to work as part of team and autonomously when required, and be committed to delivering care of a high standard.

It is not essential to have worked within emergency medicine to apply for this position as we would welcome everyone who like us are committed to going the extra mile for our patients.
