Radis Community Care have an opportunity for a Care Assistant to join our Emergency care Scheme in Gloucester supporting people in their own homes with emergency care
About the role
As a Care Assistant for our Emergency Care Scheme, you will provide care to service users living in their own homes with family members, that is flexible and responsive to their needs. This can include assisting them with daily living tasks, personal care and hygiene, light meal preparation and domestic tasks and medication. We provide 48 hour respite service whilst family carers have their own emergency, ill health or are admitted to hospital, whilst they are waiting for other options to be found. Car driver essential due to localities.
Various Shifts available, alternate weekends, full time and part time roles available
The service line is 24 hours a day whilst being on-call, you are paid 11 hours at a basic rate.
If you are called out, you maybe required to stay at the property for up to 48 hours until arrangements have been made for the client. Call out hours are paid at a higher hourly rate of pay.
