Creative Support is looking for a warm, reliable and proactive Female Support Worker to join our friendly staff team in Calderdale, West Yorkshire. Here we provide quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and mental health support needs based primarily in tenancies within the Calderdale area of West Yorkshire. Our aim is to enable individuals to enjoy a high quality of life and to be active in their community.
Your role will include:
- Encouraging service users to engage in a range of exciting social activities both within and outside their homes,
- Developing warm and trusting relationships with service users and their families enabling them to enjoy their time at the service to the fullest,
We are keen to expand our dedicated Support Worker team in Calderdale; we pride ourselves on being diverse, positive, and hardworking, qualities that the ideal candidate will have. You will be able to use your own initiative, as well as work effectively within a team. You will work in a person centred way, putting the individuals you support at the heart of the care you deliver.
Ideally, you will have prior experience of providing care and support to people with a learning disability/mental health support needs. However, this is not essential as we can offer full training for people who have strong person centred values and are passionate about making a difference.
