We are seeking highly motivated Support Workers to support people with autism spectrum conditions and other needs living in a bespoke supported living service in Little Thurrock to enjoy an excellent quality of life, wellbeing and opportunities for personal development. The service offers an empowering, strengths-based model of support which enables people to lead fulfilling and valued lives, maintain their tenancies, participate in their local community, develop independent living skills and achieve their personal goals and desired outcomes.



Your role will involve providing care and support in a personalised and responsive manner. As well as providing direct care and support, you will have the opportunity to act as a Key Worker supporting people to achieve their dreams and goals. You will work proactively to enable people to develop their quality of life and independence. This will include providing support to build confidence and skills in all activities of daily living. You will enable people to establish a positive and meaningful lifestyle, build community connections and relationships with others.



You must be able to work shifts and to be flexible and reliable. A variety of shift patterns will be offered. The service is conveniently located in Little Thurrock, with plenty of parking space as well as accessible public transport five minutes’ walk away. We will support you with excellent training so that you can practice confidently and competently and develop your career as a Support Worker, this will include autism awareness, Positive Behavior Support and Diplomas in Health and Social Care. Our staff and services are well supported by our friendly and highly motivated senior staff.
