You will have SVQ2/Other equivalent qualification or the ability to achieve SVQ3 award.
You will have certificate in Care Services Management or equivalent qualification relevant to post as recognised by Scottish Social Services Council or the ability to undertake.Responsibilities
You will supervise the provision of services which enable the social, physical and psychological care needs of service users to be met through the application of care and specialist social care skills.The Individual
You will have experience of working with Older People and personal care skills. You will have good communication skills (written and oral) along with management skills and organisational skills.
You will have experience of working as a team member, be a team player, have ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative. You will have ability to lead a team.
You will be available at short notice and able to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
You will have the ability to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council within a specified time.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
