Want to be part of an exceptional team here at Sense? We are now recruiting for a Deputy Care Manager at our Residential CQC service in Handsworth Wood, Birmingham.

As a Deputy Care Manager, you will assist the Registered Care Manager to lead and deliver a personalized, responsive, and high-quality service to the individuals we support. You will ensure the effective management of our dedicated staff team and support with duties such as creating the rotas, supervising and mentoring the Support Workers.

Handsworth Wood- Level 1 (5-bed home, 5 people)

Supports individuals with vision/hearing difficulties and communication challenges and complex needs.
15 hours supporting on shift and 22.5 hours office based
Full UK manual licence essential

Requirements for the role:

Prior experience of working in a Social Care setting such as Community/Residential/Supported Living is essential.
Knowledge of multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities is desirable.
A full manual UK driving licence- we have manual company vehicles used to drive and take individuals to appointments, activities outside of the home and trips.
