Role: Care Assistant Days – Permanent position
Part Time or Full time considered. (FT - 35.25 hrs per week)

Hourly Rate £12.40 per hour

About us

Willowdale Residential Home is situated on the crest of a hill, in a quiet, well-established village called Buckley, near Mold in Flintshire which is surrounded by the countryside. The home is registered as a 26-bed residential home, offering long term residential care, respite, day care and short-term stays caring for people on a residential basis as well as for people with milder forms of dementia.

We are currently looking for a Care Assistant with a natural caring nature to join our team.

Our aim at Willowdale Residential Home is to provide the highest standard of care in a relaxed, friendly environment with a friendly and empathetic approach. We ensure that residents are able to still enjoy the freedom and lifestyle of their choice, whilst receiving care that is appropriate to their needs built on dignity and respect and you will play a key part in this:

What you will be doing: -

• To assist with care and support of the Residents under the supervision of a senior in charge.
• To encourage and help promote the quality of life according to needs as identified in a resident’s personal care plan.
• Assist service users with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing and eating.
• Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of service users.

Desired Qualifications

A diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2 (or similar) or have at least 1 year experience as a senior carer or care assistant.

Please note that Willowdale Residential Home comply with the Social Care Wales Regulations and Rules 2022 and therefore, if you are working as an adult care worker and provide care, you are required to ensure that you are / are required to register with Social Care Wales (SCW), maintain your registration and hold a valid registration number.

Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check.
