An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Emergency Planning team as a full-time Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) Fit testing administrator. The post holder is expected to be able to attend and work across all of our hospital sites which include St Mary’s at Paddington, Charing Cross at Hammersmith and Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea at East Acton, Western Eye at Marylebone and several community sites.
Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response in the trust is part of corporate division reporting through the site director and chief operating officer to the chief executive, executive management board and Trust board. The post holder will work as part of Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response team supporting the FFP3 mask fit testing programme to ensure all frontline staff have the appropriate support and respiratory protective equipment to maintain their health and safety.
Reporting to the Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) manager you will be part of an established team and be required to work across all aspects of EPRR whilst focusing on FFP3 mask fit testing.
You will be expected to support in the administration duties of existing and future EPRR projects to ensure that the Trust is compliant with the Civil Contingency Act 2004, Health and Social Care Act 2012 as applicable to EPRR, NHS England Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response Framework, Department of Health EPRR guidance and other NHS requirements relevant to EPRR and mask fit testing.
• To support delivery of the fit testing programme for the Trust in line with the national and local regulations.
• Manage own workload, demonstrate efficient organisation and support with the delivery of the EPRR project as directed.
• To provide administrative and secretarial support to the EPRR team.
• To work autonomously within a team, providing full administration support to the EPRR team.
• To work effectively with a wide range of NHS staff and external organisations.
