Medacs are recruiting for an Extended Hours Team Manager to support the business to deliver a high quality and seamless service outside of hours to candidates and clients. You'll be coaching and encouraging the team to fulfil their potential and develop new skills.


The role is homebased in the UK working remotely weekends between the hours of 7am-10pm and weekday evenings 6pm-10pm providing a professional and efficient service maximising bookings and driving margin generation whilst developing and fostering strong working relationships with internal teams.


Here's some of the key responsibilities:



  • Efficient management of the staffing rota to ensure all key business areas are sufficiently supported to maximise bookings

  • Support the team to ensure all candidate and client queries are dealt with swiftly and efficiently

  • Deliver training on internal and external systems and booking platforms

  • Monitor booking rates for all team members and identify areas for improvement and upskilling

  • Produce weekly and monthly reports

  • Promote the contribution of the extended hours service to the wider business.

  • Monitor call activity

  • Regular meetings with internal managers

  • Identify opportunities and encourage innovative ways of working

  • Maintain excellent understanding of standard operating procedures and compliance processes

  • Ensure all daily handovers, booking reports and systems are updated

  • Hold regular one-to-ones and identify any opportunities to develop, coach and train the team

  • Manage performance and absence in line with company policies and procedures.

  • Support the team with bookings

  • Attend client meetings / calls

  • Act as escalation for any problems that arise outside of office hours

  • Track and manage booking errors to minimise financial and reputational risk
