It is advisable to refer to this when submitting your application for the post.Job PurposeTo provide flexible support for Boy with complex needsLocationNorwich, NR5Job DetailsWe are seeking a personal assistant to support a 15 year old boy who has multiple health/mobility issues, to give his family some respite. He is non-verbal but loves trains. His PA needs to be able to assist with feeding and personal care (changing pads), and will use a hoist for transfers. Some experience with epilepsy would be an advantage.Required Characteristics· Flexible and reliable· Experience with young people· Knowledge/experience with Epilepsy· Able to use Hoist (Training can be organised)· Driver with own car and relevant class of business insurance an advantage but not essential as we have a mobility car.Summary terms and conditions· The rate of pay for this position is £13.00 per hour· Hours of work: Up to 20 hrs monthly, evenings weekends and school holidays. Flexible, to discuss at interview stage.· 5.6 weeks per year pro-rata paid leave, inclusive of bank holidays· Free Careskills trainingThe post is subject to the following:· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months
