Description:
A female personal assistant who is flexible and reliable to meet my needs is required for a mature lady who enjoys getting out and about but needs assistance with day-to-day tasks. These include personal care, general housework around the home, attending appointments with me when required and attending evening events when asked. Hours are mainly Monday to Friday
The successful applicant would need to hold a full driving UK licence and have access to a vehicle to take me out (Prepared to pay mileage separately) support me with my personal care needs and social activities.
Previous experience in this type of work, either professionally or personally is desirable but full training will be given regardless.
Hours are 19 per week and will be arranged usually a month in advance on a flexible basis with occasional day at the weekend.
If you are friendly, patient, understanding, empathetic, have a caring nature and want to support me with my daily life this role would suit you. You need to be animal friendly and aware due having a house cat and a dog.

Tasks:

• Help with dressing, help with showering and shampooing my hair, help with getting out of bed.
• General support with cooking nutritional meals
• General housework support – changing bedding, cleaning the bathroom, keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, Vacuuming and some dusting.
• Support to get into the community and assisting me to participate in various social activities like going to the cinema, going to the theatre, going out to lunch and meet up with friends, going to the local shops/assisting with shopping, taking to appointment.
• Having your own car is desirable to support me to get out into the community and attending appointments when necessary.
• This is not a list of everything that I may ask you to do, as I may ask you to do similar sorts of tasks which may not be listed above, provided that my request is reasonable.
