Job Advertisement: Personal Assistant for Jewish Elderly Lady
Location: Prestwich near Heaton Park.
Hours: 11.30 flexible schedule.
We are seeking a compassionate and understanding Personal Assistant to support a lovely Jewish elderly lady in maintaining her independence while respecting her religious traditions and cultural needs. Key Responsibilities:
Assist with light domestic tasks such as making the bed and gentle cleaning to maintain a tidy living environment.
Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations, ensuring she feels supported and valued.
Encourage and assist with meal planning, offering meal ideas that adhere to her dietary preferences and traditions.
Facilitate activities that align with her interests and cultural practices, promoting a sense of community and connection.
Provide compassionate support in daily routines while fostering independence.
Qualifications and Skills:
Understanding of Jewish traditions and religious practices. (She is happy to teach those who would like to learn how to support her).
Experience in a caregiving or personal assistant role is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on empathy and kindness.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful of privacy and dignity.
A valid driver's license may be beneficial for transportation needs.
