About the role: Responsible for assessment of service user needs and to develop an appropriate person centred treatment programme to meet individual needs To promote choice in all aspects of clinical practice reviewing and making suggestions to enhance the service user experience and enabling concerns and complaints to be raised freely by service users and their representatives To liaise and communicate with other health and social care professionals and volunteers in the planning and delivery of occupational therapy To ensure appropriate provision and maintenance of equipment within available resources To ensure that up to date written and electronic records are maintained in accordance with Professional and Charity standards, and that sensitive information is held securely Responsible to share knowledge and expertise with other staff through formal and informal teaching Facilitating the safe and smooth running of the Service, the post holder is expected to maintain a safe working environment, maintain service user confidentiality, and occasionally take on reasonable additional tasks
