About the role:
We are looking for a Professional Care Assistant to join the team at our care home beautifully located in Langport.
Under the guidance of a Team Leader, you will be trusted to take responsibility for the support, physical/emotional well-being and social needs of our residents.
You will assist and patiently provide support for residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals.
You will provide physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities with residents, both individually and as a team.
You will help to maintain accurate records, using our advanced iPod-based care system, and undertaking ongoing training.
In addition to this, you will generally promote our residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of quality care.

Job Type: Permanent, Part Time
Salary: £11.80 per hour
Expected hours: 120 per month, 36 hrs Week 1 & 3, 24 hrs Week 2 & 4
