We are a well-established homecare provider, delivering high-quality, person-centered care to individuals across the Wandsworth area. Our dedicated team of 30 Care Assistants provides between 800 and 1,000 care hours each week, supporting clients with diverse needs to live independently in their own homes. We are passionate about offering exceptional care and ensuring continuity for all our clients.
Role Overview:
As a Care Coordinator, you will play a key role in the smooth running of our service, ensuring that all care is delivered to a high standard and that staff rotas are effectively managed. You will be responsible for overseeing care schedules, coordinating shifts, managing staff absences, and liaising closely with clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling & Coordination: Manage the weekly rota for a team of 30 Care Assistants, ensuring each shift is covered and all client needs are met.
Absence Management: Handle unplanned absences, finding cover and updating clients on any necessary changes.
Client Matching: Assign Care Assistants to clients based on compatibility, care requirements, and location to maintain consistency and quality of care.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure that all records are kept up-to-date, in line with regulatory standards and company policy.
On-Call Duty: Be available for on-call support one week in every three, to handle emergencies or last-minute changes.
Team Support: Offer guidance and support to Care Assistants, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and their families, ensuring satisfaction and handling any feedback effectively.

Criteria:
Experience: A background in homecare is essential, with experience in coordinating and managing rotas preferred.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail to handle scheduling, documentation, and client management efficiently.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain strong relationships with both clients and care staff.
