Job Title: Care Assistant - Nights

Salary*: £11.96ph

Hours: Full Time - 7pm-7am - 33 hours a week minimum to include every other weekend

Location: Edwinstowe, NG21 9PA

Team Members under 21 will be paid at £1.00 per hour less, which is significantly above National Minimum Wage guidelines for this age group

A little about Nightingale:

Nightingale Nursing & Care Home is based in the centre of Edwinstowe, near Mansfield. The home, although purpose-built, has been made very homely, and has a selection of garden areas, in line with Jasmine’s values and ethos. The home provides personal, nursing and dementia care to 49 residents.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • You will join our team of dedicated Care Assistants to provide the highest possible levels of care in supporting and assisting our residents in all aspects of daily living, including providing personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating
  • You will be responsible for promoting our resident’s independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing
  • You will complete all Daily Charts to a high standard, ensuring that 90% and above is achieved during all Monthly Daily Charts Audits
  • Ensure you are 100% current with all your mandatory training throughout the year


Essential Requirements:

  • A Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification.
  • A good reason or experience that has drawn them to care.
  • Live within 20 minutes of the Home


Preferred Requirements:

  • One years’ experience of working in a residential or nursing home.
  • Level 2 Health & Social Care or above.
