To lead and manage the care team, to deliver high standards across the organisation. You'll also play an important role in supporting the Home manager of the service.
Role overview:
1. supporting the Home Manager to run the home, including covering in
their absence and ensuring standards of care are maintained
2. ensuring the service health and safety, infection control, fire safety plans
and staffing levels complies with the current legislation and regulatory
requirements
3. undertake care assessments as well as work closely with all stake
holders
4. helping the service to recruit and develop care workers, supporting,
supervising and performance managing them
Skills And Experience
You'll need to have qualifications and experience to apply for this post. Working towards Level 5 in social care or general nursing qualification, and experience directly delivering care can be highly beneficial to be successful in the role. Specific skills needed to work in this role includes:
1. good work ethics and time management skills
2. supervisory and team leading skills
3. performance management
4. self-motivation and resilience
5. good understanding of regulatory requirements
Hours: 35 per week
Shift Pattern: Mainly Monday to Friday but the role responsibility requires flexibility
Salary : 35K to 42K depending on qualifications and experience
Incentives: Annual performance related bonus of 5K (Conditions apply)
