These are full-time, permanent roles with hybrid working, and a salary of £43,202 - £47,521 per annum.

This is an excellent opportunity for two enthusiastic Senior Occupational Therapists to join our teams.


The Role:
The two Occupational Therapist (OT) roles are within the Front Door Team and the Hospital Team.

The Front Door Team involves managing a varied caseload of residents whose challenges require our specialism to optimise their wellbeing. You will be assessing within an integrated team of OT and Social Workers to support a holistic approach to maximising function, preventing longer term challenges and hospital admissions to our more vulnerable residents.

The second Occupation Therapist role sits within the Hospital Team working to expedite safe and timely discharges from hospital or residential settings to residents home. Once home the integrated teams approach is to maximise residents optimal function preventing the possibility of readmissions.

As well as supporting your colleagues, you will be supported with supervision and training to develop your knowledge and skills.

Your role will involve:
Assessment and interventions for residents with physical disabilities, not excluding cognitive decline
Manual handling assessments
Postural and seating assessments
Disabled facility grant assessments
Housing reports to support rehousing (Front Door Team)
Specialist equipment provision
Service development and audit

What we are looking for:
An individual who has experience of adult social care, community and / or hospital Occupational Therapy
A good understanding of IT with skills including MS Office, word, excel, spreadsheets
Sound knowledge of safeguarding adults
The ability to make decisions based on evidence
An interest in improving practice
Must hold a valid UK driving licence
