Residential Care Home Care Coordinator

Woodbridge, Suffolk

Pay: £14.25 per hour

Type: Permanent

Shift: Nights

About the Role
As a Care Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our residents receive high-quality, person-centred care. You will work closely with the care team to coordinate and manage care for residents, considering their individual needs, preferences, and goals. Your responsibilities will include organising your shifts, administering and recording medication, liaising with health professionals, and maintaining residents’ computerised care plans. Additionally, you will assist with the induction, training, and supervision of support staff.

Reports to: Home Manager

Skills and Attributes
• Experience supervising a care team.
• Empathy and understanding of the needs of residents.
• Good leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail, with an organised and methodical approach.
• Flexibility regarding working schedules, roles, and responsibilities.

Education and Qualifications
• You will have, or be working towards, NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
