A little about myself:
I am young girl old, and I live at home with my family in Swansea. My interests are art, Anime, sharks and snakes. I like visiting aquariums, McDonalds, HVM and bubble tea. I like Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer. I have a diagnosis of ASD, ADHD and PDA. I sometimes find busy places overwhelming, and it is important that I am supported to feel safe and happy.

Driver required to take me out.

Male / female no preference.

Hours of work
4 hours a week during term time.
8 hours a week during school holidays.

Rate of pay.
£12.75

Essential:
I need you to:
• Neurodivergent awareness as I am diagnosed with ADHD, ASD and PDA.
• I can become overwhelmed in crowded and loud environments. It is important that you know to take me to a calm and safe space.
• I need additional processing time when crossing busy roads and need to be reminded to stay safe.
• I can become overwhelmed when new people in the community try to talk with me. I’d rather not engage in small talk unless I initiate it.

Desirable
I’d prefer if:
• To share the same interests as me.
• To be LGBTIQA plus awareness.


I’d like support with
• Getting out and about in the community visiting areas of interest to me.
• Having support in the house, doing activities that interest me.


I will need my PA to:
Respect and understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality.
Be confident, mature and have patience.
Be dependable and arrive on time.
Be friendly with an easy-going manner.
Be adaptable and flexible.
Be supportive but not take over.
Have business insurance on your car to take clients out.

Concerning the position
A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis). A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
