Job PurposeTo provide domestic and social support on an ‘As and When’ basis for man with health conditions.

Location: Buxton, Norfolk NR10

DetailsI suffer from M.E. and have a visual impairment which means I require support with social engagement and activities. I have a regular PA but am seeking an additional personal assistant for 5hrs a week to care for meal preparation, hygenic cleaning some ironing and to give additional support when my current PA is taking time off (this is during every school holiday). This additional suppport will be to assist with activities both at home and out and about. I enjoy DIY and gardening, and like to go out, but would need someone able to drive our car. My PA will also need to be able to push me in a wheelchair, and be willing to help me complete practical tasks, but I do not require any personal care.

Person specification· Well organised and practical· Trustworthy· Flexible· Full clean driving licence· Interest in DIY and gardening an advantage

Summary terms and conditions· The rate of pay for this position is £15.87 per hour· Hours and times of work: 5 hours weekly, on a flexible, ‘As and When’ basis

The post is subject to the following:· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.· This position requires employees to undertake the following free annual training:Health and Safety, GDPR 1 & 2
