Position: 1:1 Intervention Teaching Assistant
Location: Wokingham, Berkshire

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 Intervention Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wokingham, Berkshire. This is a temporary, full-time position. As a 1:1 Intervention Teaching Assistant, you will work in the education sector, providing essential support to students requiring additional assistance.
- Providing 1:1 interventions in subjects such as literacy, numeracy, reading, and writing.
- Assisting students with special educational needs (SEN) and offering behavioural support when needed.
- Collaborating with teachers and professionals to develop and implement individualised education plans.
- Monitoring and recording students' progress, highlighting areas of concern or improvement.
- Creating engaging learning activities to enhance students' educational experiences.
- Supporting students' social and emotional development, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Adhering to safeguarding policies to ensure students' well-being and safety at all times.
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Health and Social Care Level 3 qualification.

A minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is required.

Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in delivering 1:1 interventions.
- Strong understanding of SEN and behavioural support techniques.
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to effectively support reading and writing development.

Additional relevant qualifications or certifications are advantageous.

This is a temporary, full-time role based in Wokingham. You will work closely with students and professionals in an educational setting.

Salary: £85.00 - £95.00 per day (PAYE)
