The Richmond Fellowship Scotland makes a real difference in supporting people with their everyday lives. We have an exciting opportunity to join our Hopeman Avenue service as Bank Support Practitioner on a bank contract. Our bank contracts will give you flexibility over the days and hours you work. Tell us when you're available and we'll look to give you shifts to fit.

You don’t need previous experience in care to join our team as a Support Practitioner as we recruit on values and transferable skills. We provide full training along with the opportunity for you to complete your SVQ.

The role:

Hopeman Avenue is a registered care home based in Arden (5 mins from Silverburn shopping centre). The service provides support to eight adults with mental health support needs within a purpose-built care home on one level.

We focus on fun and opportunities for people to be fully involved within the surrounding communities and take advantage of any activities and opportunities for people to learn what they want in their life and pursue this, with support.

The people we support require assistance with tasks, such as personal care, homecare and household tasks, medication, meal preparation or support with cooking meals, shopping, managing finances, arranging appointments or accessing their local community.


To be an amazing Support Practitioner, we’ll need you to:

Have an empathetic and caring nature
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
IT literate
Be able to work well in a team environment and on your own
Good organisational skills

Shift Patterns:

Our dedicated team provide tailored support 24/7 and shift patterns include working days, evenings, sleepovers, weekends and bank/public holidays.
