The Role: To provide support to a happy 5-year-old girl who has Global Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, and a visual impairment. She loves lots of cuddles and interaction. Although she is non-verbal, she has her own ways to communicate and interact with others, and you can expect to create a wonderful relationship with her, and her family.
Main Duties
• To provide all personal care, this includes bathing, dressing, and changing nappies
• To cook meals, and support with feeding
• To prepare and administer medication
• To get her ready for school transport
• To clean up after feeding times
Personal Qualities and Attributes required:
• Respectful of confidentiality and privacy
• Responsible, reliable and trustworthy
• Respectful of dignity and independence
• Good communication skills and social skills
• Punctual, and flexible
• Care experience is desired but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Car owner with driving license and business insurance desirable
*This role is a lone working position, and an Enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) is required for all staff undertaking the role*
Hours: 29.5 hours per week, (this can be a job share) broken down as follows:
*Term time hours*
Monday to Friday 16:00 – 20:00
Wednesday mornings 6:30 – 8:30
Weekends are also required; however, hours are flexible.

*Half term hours*
Monday 8:30 – 16:30
Tuesday: 8:30 – 16:30
Wednesday 8:30 – 16:30
Weekends are also required; however, hours are flexible.

Pay: £15.00

You must be able to prove your right to work in the UK. No sponsorship is available.
