A Vacancy at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust.


To perform assessment and treatment for in and out patients in Hand Therapy and Rheumatology with complex needs and demonstrate highly developed assessment and therapeutic skills necessary for the treatment of patients, e.g. splinting, hand therapy skills, complex hand and general functional assessments.

To provide advice, guidance and information to health and social care professionals, carers and relatives and other non professionals.



To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.



To participate in continuing professional and service development, and contribute to organisational objectives.

To treat inpatients and outpatients
• To participate within the Hand therapy and Rheumatology clinical and interdisciplinary teams and contribute to their function.
• To undertake assessments of patients with complex and diverse presentations.
• To communicate patient related information effectively and efficiently to patients, relevant team members, relatives, and other relevant service providers; through written documentation and verbal communication, in line with professional, legal, departmental and Trust requirements.
• To supervise undergraduate students as allocated by the coordinator and to regularly liaise with the academic institutions
