Vacancy for Post 16 Subject Teacher

Part-time, Flexible Working, Fixed Term

MPS/UPS FTE £30,000 - £46,525 pay award pending

Location: Kinver High School or Wombourne High School

We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands.

Are you passionate about shaping the minds of future generations? Do you have a commitment to excellence in education? We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Post-16 Subject Teachers at Kinver High School or Wombourne High School in the following subjects:

• History
• Health and Social Care
• Physical Education: BTEC Sport/Sport coaching
• Chemistry

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and informative lessons to post-16 students.
• Plan and prepare course materials in accordance with curriculum guidelines.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as required.

Requirements:

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent desirable but not essential
• Experience teaching post-16 subjects is preferred but not essential.
• Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a difference in students' lives.

We are located in the beautiful, rural village setting of Kinver and serve a wide area also comprising the South Staffordshire villages of Stourton, Swindon, Bobbington and Trysull. Over recent years a substantial number of children have travelled in from the southern and western parts of Stourbridge including Norton, Wollaston, Wordsley and from Cookley in Worcestershire. Kinver is also conveniently located for travel to and from Bridgnorth, Dudley and Kidderminster.
