- Being involved in strategic planning groups where appropriate, consulting on issues relating to PBS.
- Providing training, guidance and coaching opportunities to enable others to develop their knowledge and skills.
- Helping to develop strategies that promote a safe, respectful environment and ensure people are treated with dignity.
- Cultivating a positive, inclusive atmosphere where people feel supported, valued and empowered to grow and succeed.
- Designing, implementing, evaluating and adapting individual recording systems according to the needs of an individual young person.
- Managing caseload and waitlist in a manner that ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
- Keeping up to date with national best practice about provisions for people with learning disabilities, neurodiversity, restrictive practices and challenging behaviour.
- Master's Level qualification in Applied behaviour Analysis, PBS, or other relevant discipline such as psychology.
- Significant experience delivering PBS within a relevant setting.
- Sound knowledge of working within Ofsted's social care common inspection framework.
- Experience with supporting young people with challenging behaviours.
- Ability to demonstrate working with children or young people with complex needs including learning disabilities and Autism spectrum conditions.
- Experience in delivery of PROACT-SCIPr.
- Driver with own transport is essential.
- A full valid UK Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
