Introduction

I am looking for someone to provide care to an 11 year old boy with complex epilepsy in their own home. Training will be provided on all aspects of care. Initially companion care is all that is required until the successful applicant is confident and familiar with his condition. There may be an opportunity to accompany myself or one other care assistant on trips out into the community. Duties may vary daily depending on the time of day.

Hours

Monday - Friday between 10-4pm for 4 hours term time and 8 hours on school holidays. These hours are flexible. No evenings or weekends. Holiday pay provided.

Rate

£15.40 per hour

Essential Requirements

An understanding of social care, patience and good communication skills, physically fit, full driving licence. An enhanced DBS check will be required.

Desired Experience

experience with autism and/or epilepsy. More important is an eagerness to learn, a relaxed attitude and a good sense of humour.
