A little about myself:
I am a young boy living in Swansea I have ASD and ADHD. I am a very happy and funny boy. I have a good sense of humour. Sometimes I can be unpredictable I can become violent and verbal which I do not mean, I also like to run off. I will need my PA to be fast and alert. I am looking for 2 PAs to work together. I like to go out for food or ice cream, I like Lego and going out on my bike. I would like to choose what I would like to do.

Driver required to take me out.

Male / female no preference.

Hours of work
3 hours during school term for 2 PAs (plus 20 miles)
6 hours during school holidays for 2 PAs (plus 30 miles)

Rate of pay.
£12.75

Essential:
I need you to:
• Be able to drive to take me out
• Work with another PA
• Have previous experience
• Let me decide what I would like to do

Desirable
I’d prefer if:
• You have worked with children before
• Have a good sense of humour

I’d like support with
• Going out in the community
• Going out for food

I will need my PA to:

Respect and understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality.
Be confident, mature and have patience.
Be dependable and arrive on time.
Be friendly with an easy-going manner.
Be adaptable and flexible.
Be supportive but not take over.
Have business insurance on your car to take clients out.

Concerning the position

A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis). A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
