A little about myself:
I am a teenage boy and I live at home with my family in Swansea. I have a diagnosis of ASD, ADHD, ODD and general learning difficulties. I have just finished comprehensive school where I attended an STF unit. I would like support to access the community to do things that I enjoy, such as going in town, exploring shops etc. My interests are Dr Who, Star Wars, Lego, Anime such as Demon Slayer and Dragon Ball Z. I am very chatty and like to talk about my interests.

Driver required to take me out.

Male preferred however females may apply.

Hours of work
6 hours a week.

Rate of pay
£12.75

Essential:
I need you to:
• Sometimes I have anxiety in busy places, and I will want to leave if it becomes too much for me.
• I can feel stressed when in noisy places such as on a busy bus, it can feel like I have a headache.
• I can be vulnerable in the community as I do struggle with knowing who is safe to trust and who isn’t.

Desirable
I’d prefer if:
• To share similar interest as me such as Dr Who and Amine. If not, I enjoy talking about them so having someone who is willing to engage in conversation and have good listening skills.

I’d like support with
• Accessing the community to do activities of my choice.
• Helping me access social groups to extent my social connections.

I will need my PA to:

Respect and understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality.
Be confident, mature and have patience.
Be dependable and arrive on time.
Be friendly with an easy-going manner.
Be adaptable and flexible.
Be supportive but not take over.
Have business insurance on your car to take clients out.

Concerning the position

A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis). A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
